Evans Park Back to School and September Events

Dear Evans Park Community,

I would like to begin by thanking all of your children, families, and our staff for a truly wonderful start to the 2025-2026 school year. I wanted to send a friendly reminder about some of our upcoming events and opportunities for students and families.

Back to School Night - Wednesday, September 10th (6:30 - 8:00 PM)

The evening will include three sessions where classroom teachers will tell you about the upcoming school year. The schedule is as follows:

• 6:30 PM - Kindergarten

• 7:00 PM - 3rd & 4th Grades

• 7:30 PM - 1st & 2nd Grades

• 6:30 PM - Special Area teacher, Service Providers, and our PTA in MPR

We encourage all visitors to stop in our multipurpose room to meet with special area teachers, service providers and our Evans Park PTA prior to going to their classrooms. Please be aware that this is an adults only event. 

Picture Day - Tuesday, September 30th and Wednesday, October 1st

Sunflower photography will be taking individual and class photos of our students on Tuesday and Wednesday. Communication has been shared through our PTA regarding the ordering of photos. The schedule is as follows:

PTA

We are grateful for the support of the Evans Park PTA. Through their partnership we have been able to enhance our outdoor facilities, provide volunteers for many events and field trips, and strengthen our support for students. I encourage all families to JOIN OUR PTA and visit their WEBSITE for additional information. 

PTA Family Pizza Picnic - Thursday, September 18th (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM)

On behalf of the Evans Park PTA, we hope you can enjoy us for a night of fun, friendship, and delicious food all at Evans Park Elementary. The PTA will be providing pizza, games, music, and a photo booth. Please purchase tickets HERE.

Arts in the Park - Saturday, September 13th (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

Pearl River School District’s Arts in the Park event has been rescheduled and will now take place on Saturday, September 13 from 9:00am to 12:00pm at Central Avenue Field. This special celebration of the arts will shine a spotlight on the incredible creativity of our K-12 students, featuring a wide variety of artwork that they’ve thoughtfully created and curated throughout the 2024-25 school year.
