EP Winter Letter 2025
December 8th, 2025
Dear Evans Park Community,
The Winter Season is here and we have so much planned for the coming weeks! May your holiday be filled with the warmth of time spent with family and friends.
Winter Concert
Thank you to all those who were able to attend our Winter Concert on December 3rd! This was a beautiful event to celebrate all the hard work of our students and to come together as a community before the Winter recess. Please check out the videos of student performances linked below. I am saddened to share that our Kindergarten video had technical issues and was not able to be uploaded.
Holiday Boutique
Our PTA is hosting the Holiday Boutique on Thursday, December 11th and Friday, December 12th. This year’s Holiday Boutique will be happening in the library. All students will shop on Thursday with additional time for those that missed out on Friday morning. Please see the LETTER provided by our PTA.
PBIS Whole School Reward
Our students have collected over 5,000 tickets for demonstrating acts of kindness, readiness, and safety. They have truly shown a commitment to Mastering Belonging. At your child’s teacher’s discretion, classes will watch The Lorax, a film that emphasizes how building and maintaining community is a shared effort and requires acts of kindness.
Winter Celebrations
In collaboration with the PTA, we are planning Winter Celebrations in the afternoon on Tuesday, December 23rd. The celebrations will include a cupcake, craft activity, and games.
Toys for Tots
In coordination with the Rockland County Marine Corps League, we will be collecting donations for Toys for Tots. A box will be available in our front lobby until December 19th.We thank you for your support, generosity, and ensuring families can have a festive holiday.
Spirit Week
Our Winter Spirit Week will be from Monday, December 15th - Tuesday, December 23rd. I will share an email later in the week outlining the day's themes organized by our Tiger’s Student Council.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season! As always if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the main office.
Sincerely,
Joseph Avdek
Principal
