EP PARP 2026

Posted Date: 01/16/26 (10:00 AM)

Dear Evans Park Families,

Thank you for supporting our Pick A Reading Partner (PARP) program this year. PARP is designed to foster the love of books through reading at home, individually or with others. Over three weeks, the students will discover how reading does not take us on adventures in a book, it can connect our community. This year’s PARP theme, Reading in the Real World, encourages the kids to discover the power of reading to communicate, connect people, and open a world of adventure.

See below for details and CALENDAR regarding the program.

Each classroom teacher will be sharing a sign-up sheet to have a partner in reading come to Evans Park and read to your child’s class. We ask that our reading partners and guests be adults, or age-appropriate student accompanied by an adult outside of their school hours. All volunteers must sign-up with their classroom teacher and share which wonderful book they will read to the class!

Dates: Friday, January 23rd through Friday, February 13th.

PARP Spirit Activities
