Dear Kindergarten Families,
We are so excited to welcome your children and family to Evans Park! Kindergarten is the start to an incredible journey through the Pearl River School District. We are excited for you to join us as Tigers!
At Evans Park, we believe that all of our students can and will learn through our collaborative work. In Kindergarten, this starts with support for children to build strong relationships with their teachers, peers, and the larger school community. In each classroom, students will grow in their foundational skills in reading, writing, math, and academic habits through a variety of play, guided practice, and exploration. Together we will grow and learn as Tigers at Evans Park!
Important Information
Our recommended list of school supplies for Kindergarten is AVAILABLE HERE and on our WEBSITE.
In collaboration with our PTA, we will be having a Kindergarten Playground and Popsicle night on Thursday, August 6th at 6:00 PM
We are looking forward to welcoming our Kindergarten families to an Orientation and Building Tour on Thursday, August 13th at 9:00AM. This event provides an opportunity for families and children to explore the building, visit their classroom, and take a school bus ride. You're welcome to bring supplies that day to drop off.
At the end of August, you’ll receive a message when your child’s class and bus assignment are posted to the Parent Portal (the same site used for registration)
We are grateful for the support of our amazing Evans Park PTA and encourage all families to become members.
